Dwangwa Bee-Keeping Initiative

Bee keeping initiative is one of the most common alternative income generating activities that is used as a way of conserving nature.

This initiative involves communities in producing and selling honey as an environmental friendly way of generating income instead of destroying nature through poaching and deforestation to earn a living.

WESM Dwangwa Branch is sustaining this initiative through bee keeping trainings and frequent visits to their farmers in order to monitor the progress in bee keeping. Fortunately the farmers show interest in bee keeping and are producing quality honey to the market.
